Variety reports David Tennant is one of the actors who will voice a character in the animated adult comedy Standing By.
The description for the series is:
'A satirical look into the lives of a group of eternally bound, disgruntled guardian angels and the lessons they'll eventually learn from not only the dysfunctional humans they're in charge of protecting, but also each other.'
As well as David, Dan Levy, Natalie Palamides, Glenn Close, Poppy Liu and Samira Wiley will star.

As previously announced, the four part drama will be broadcast on ITV in the UK following being available on its streaming service ITVX which launches later this year.
NENT Group's Viaplay streaming service will show it in the Nordics, Netherlands, Poland and Baltics.
AMC Networks Sundance Now and AMC+ have acquired the exclusive US rights to Litvineko and Amazon's Prime Video will show the series in Canada.
In Europe Litvinenko will air on M6 France, ProSieben Sat1 Germany and Sky Italia among others.
Seven Network Australia, TVNZ (New Zealand) and Now TV Hong Kong will broadcast the drama.

August 2022 Variety reports Netflix's The Sandman has dropped a new episode starring David Tennant Sandra Oh, James McAvoy and Michael Sheen.
It was released at midnight PT and is a new installment of The Sandman Season One.
It is a live action/animated hybrid episode which adapts the two stories from Gaiman's Sandman graphic novels - A Dream Of A Thousand Cats and also Calliope.
A Dream Of A Thousand Cats is the animated portion.
The stars include Tom Sturridge as Dream, Sandra Oh as The Prophet, Rosie Day as The Tabby Kitten, David Gyasi as The Grey Cat, Joe Lycett as The Black Cat, Neil Gaiman as Crow/Skull Bird, James McAvoy as Golden-Haired Man, David Tennant as Don and Michael Sheen as Paul. Updated 19/8
