David Tennant - Final Space David Tennant voiced the Lord Commander in the animated series Final Space which started broadcast on TBS in the US from Monday 26th February 2018 at 10.30pm. As well as David, other actors voicing characters included Fred Armisen, Tom Kenny, Gina Torres, Steven Yeun, Coty Galloway, Caleb McLaughlin, Ron Perlman, John Dimaggio, Shannon Purser and Keith David. Final Space was created by Olan Rogers who is an independent filmmaker, comedian and entrepreneur with nearly one million YouTube subscribers. The series was written and executive produced by Rogers and David Sacks. The series revolved around Gary 'who is working off a prison sentence and makes a mysterious new alien friend named Mooncake, whom he immediately bonds with.' Final Space premiered on Netflix in the UK on Friday 20th July 2018. There were ten episodes in the first series. Final Space Season Two premiered in the US on Monday 24th June 2019 at 11.30pm. However the second season had its premiere each week on the channel Adult Swim with a repeat the following week on TBS.
