David Tennant - Sport Relief Sport Relief is a biennial charity event from the team who run Comic Relief. It combines sport and entertainment to raise money to help vulnerable people in both the UK and the world's poorest countries. Sport Relief started in 2002 and in 2012 David Tennant appeared in a trailer for the charity evening dressed as a large ketchup bottle, was a guest on Let's Dance For Sport Relief and he ran the Sport Relief Mile (he was interviewed on television both before and after the run). In 2013 David visited Sierra Leone to film a moving video which will be shown on Sport Relief evening on BBC television on Friday 21st March 2014.
