David Tennant - The Proclaimers: This Is The Story The one hour documentary called The Proclaimers: This Is The Story was broadcast on BBC Two Scotland on Wednesday 21st June 2017 at 9pm. Eighteen months later it was shown nationwide on BBC Four on 30th November 2018. David Tennant hosted the documentary and interviewed Craig and Charlie Reid who are better known as the band The Proclaimers. David is a long time fan of the famous duo. The official description of the documentary is: 'In 1987, two brothers from Auchtermuchty in Fife released an album called 'This Is The Story. Featuring songs such as 'Letter From America', the album propelled The Proclaimers and the Scottish accent into the charts. Superfan David Tennant talks to Craig and Charlie about 30 years in the business which has taken them from playing small pubs and club across Scotland to become one of the nation's most iconic bands.'
