The documentary is titled Red Dwarf: The First Three Million Years. Red Dwarf is a British science fiction comedy franchise which primarily consists of a television sitcom that aired on BBC Two between 1988 and 1999 and on Dave since 2009. The premise of the series follows the low-ranking technician Dave Lister who wakes after being in suspended animation for three million years to find he is the last living human with no crew on board the mining spacecraft Red Dwarf other than Arnold Rimmer who is a hologram of Lister's deceased bunkmate and Cat who is a life form which evolved from Lister's pregnant cat. The cast has included Chris Barrie as Rimmer, Craig Charles as Lister, Danny John-Jules as Cat, Robert Llewellyn as the robot Kryten and Norman Lovett as the ship's computer Holly. The first one hour episode was titled The Boys From The Dwarf. The second episode is titled In Studio Space No One Can Hear You Scream and the third episode is Playing Pool With Planets. The new episodes will premiere on Thursday evenings with repeats on several days/times each week. Currently no announcement has been made about the documentary being broadcast in any other country.
