David Tennant starred in a BBC Film called United about the 1958 Munich Air Crash which killed 23 people including some of the Manchester United football team known as Busby's Babes after the manager Matt Busby.
United aired on BBC Two at 9pm on Easter Sunday (24th April 2011) and received 3.2 million viewers.
Filming started on Monday 22nd November 2010 and the 4 week shoot ended on Saturday 18th December, plus they filmed for an additional day in 2011. David played team coach Jimmy Murphy.

United was released on DVD on 8th August 2011 in the UK and on 22nd May 2012 in the US and Canada. It was released in the UK on Blu-ray on 18th May 2015.
