It was announced today that United has been short-listed for a Royal Television Society Award in the Single Drama category. The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Tuesday 20th March at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

The Love Virtually preview in the Radio Times which was published today (3rd to 9th March issue) has the comment "David Tennant's Scottish vowels give spiky academic Leo an appropriately laconic air."

The BBC website now has more details about the first episode of Tree Fu Tom - May The Best Berry Win.

The first episode of David Tennant's animated children's adventure Tree Fu Tom is called May The Best Berry Win. It is broadcast on Monday 5th March.

It is not confirmed but at about 5.30pm today somebody tweeted that David Tennant was again spotted filming in London - this time on the Millennuim Bridge.

Glasgow Film Festival have added some new clips of The Decoy Bride and part of their interviews with writer Sally Phillips and director Sheree Folkson which includes some nice comments by the latter about David.

A new clip (showing David Tennant) from The Decoy Bride was shown on Something For The Weekend today in their Sally Phillips interview.

The David Tennant Quiz today at 6pm is about the Doctor Who episode Midnight.

At 10am today Sally Phillips will be interviewed on Something For The Weekend on BBC2 so clips of David Tennant's movie The Decoy Bride may be shown.

Broadcast reports that David Tennant's improv drama for the BBC has been renamed True Love. This was its original name but its working title was Love Life. However ITV are also producing a drama with that name so the BBC drama has reverted to True Love.

David Tennant's interview section of the BBC Tree Fu Tom website now has a video of David.

According to the Twitter account Studio60A David Tennant must be recording Twelfth Night today as they mention his character Malvolio in their tweet.

David Tennant's radio drama Waiting For The Boatman will be broadcast at 2.15pm on Friday 16th March on BBC Radio Four according to a BBC Radio press release today. (Previously it was believed that it would be broadcast the previous week.) The press release also gives details of the other cast members.

More details have been posted about David Tennant's drama The Minor Character including the cast and crew.

Recording on Twelth Night for the BBC Radio Three Shakespeare Season ends today. David Tennant is playing Malvolio and we know he has already recorded at least some of his lines.

Sky Arts website says that the Playhouse Presents series will start in April although the exact date of The Minor Character is not listed.

The Guardian reports that David Tennant will star in a one-off drama called The Minor Character for Sky Arts which has been written by Will Self.

David Tennant's animated series Tree Fu Tom will broadcast at 5.25pm on CBeebies (it starts on 5th March) according to a BBC press release. It also has the details of episodes 6 to 10 which will be broadcast the week commencing Monday 12th March.

The BBC have released a press pack about its Disability Season and reported that the David Tennant voiced documentary about comedian Lawrence Clark will be broadcast on Wednesday 21st March on BBC One at 10.35pm. The name of the documentary has changed again. It is now called We Won't Drop The Baby.

The Den Of Geek website has a celebration of David Tennant in Doctor Who article. However several of David's fans have not considered the article a celebration.

The Sydney Morning Herald believe that David Tennant should have narrated the Australian broadcast of Earthflight.

David Tennant has been announced as the actor who will read the audiobook Silver: Return to Treasure Island. This was written by Sir Andrew Motion and is the official audiobook sequel to the Robert Louis Stevenson classic. The audiobook is released on 15th June and consists of 12 CDs as it is the unabridged version. It can be pre-ordered from Amazon.

Also today David Tennant's movie The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists will be screened in front of what Aardman Animations co-owner Peter Lord described yesterday as "a big, big audience." The screening will take place at the Empire Odeon in Leicester Square, London tonight.

It is NOT confirmed (and may just be hype) but the Daily Record says that David Tennant is one of the actors who MAY appear in the musical An Appointment With The Wicker Man during the ­Edinburgh Fringe in August at the Assembly Rooms.

Sophie Aldred tweeted today that yesterday's screening of Tree Fu Tom in Manchester "rocked!" However she also said that it was an inset day so there were not as many children viewing it as they had expected.

Radio Times has a piece on David Tennant and Sophie Aldred pairing up for the new series Tree Fu Tom.

Recording takes place this week for Radio 3's production of Twelfth Night which will be broadcast in April as part of BBC Radio Three's Shakespeare Season. It is still not currently known which character David Tennant will play.

The PREMIERE UK television broadcast of Fright Night is on Sky Movies Box Office channel 743 at 6.30am today. There are numerous repeats over the next few weeks too.

Unfortunately David Tennant lost to James Corden for Best Actor In A Play Award at the What's On Stage Awards tonight. (Lots of fans were surprised by the result and especially the amount that the percentages changed.) However his production of Much Ado About Nothing won the Best Shakespearean Production Award and David Tennant and Catherine Tate reuniting on stage in Much Ado About Nothing won the Theatre Event of the Year Award.

The Decoy Bride, starring David Tennant, starts showings on Sky Movies Box Office (channel 707) on 1st March. Check listings for exact times.

Tonight the What's On Stage Awards are announced at the Prince of Wales theatre in London. David Tennant has been nominated for the Best Actor In A Play Award for his portrayal of Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing. Following the popularity of BBC Three's repeat of Series 2 of Doctor Who (starring David Tennant) they are repeating Series 3 starting on Friday 24th February. This is the series where The Doctor's companion is Martha Jones.

There are some more tweets from the studio where David Tennant's production of Romeo and Juliet is being recorded today. So far they have not indicated whether or not David Tennant has recorded his lines (he is only in three scenes). It's NOT confirmed but there was a tweet earlier today which hinted that David Tennant was involved in interviewing people today for the role of Artistic Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Sony Pictures UK have posted a new behind-the-scenes video about The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists movie. It includes a very brief interview with David Tennant at 2 minutes and 25 seconds.

Today somebody from BBC Studio 60A made some tweets about the recording of Romeo and Juliet.

A snippet of David Tennant and Kylie Minogue from Voyage Of The Damned is currently being shown in the LoveFilm advert.

AdelaideNow reports and complains that unfortunately Earthflight's transmission in Australia has been re-voiced by Charles Wooley instead of having David Tennant.

David Tennant's 2010 drama Single Father gets its premiere broadcast in Finland tonight at 10pm. It will be called "Rakastanut ja menettänyt" which literally means Loved and Lost.

Radio Times reports that David Tennant came second in their Valentine Day poll yesterday. They say that, as Benedict Cumberbatch won, it was Sherlock versus Doctor Who. (They appear to have forgotten that David stopped being The Doctor in 2010.) The poll was only a fun one but was flawed as it appeared to allow people to vote multiple times.

Studio60A tweeted this morning that Romeo and Juliet was being recorded in their studio at the BBC.

David Tennant is believed to be recording Romeo and Juliet for Radio Three's Shakespeare Season this week. However the BBC Radio Drama newsletter said that the play is already in production and David only has a small part in it so it's possible that he has already recorded his lines. David is playing Prince Escalus who is the mediator of the feuding families. Escalus is the voice of authority in Verona. He appears only three times to administer justice following major events in the feud between the Capulet and Montague families. However keep listening until the end of the play as the final speech of Romeo and Juliet is by the Prince and it ends "For never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo."

Unfortunately David Tennant's drama United did not win the Best Single Drama Award at Broadcast Awards tonight but did win the Highly Commended honour. (This is not simply second place but is an indication of how respected the drama was as in most categories a Highly Commended was not bestowed.) The ITV drama Appropiate Adult won that award. Also unfortunately The Itch Of The Golden Nit did not win the Children's Award as it was won by Grizzly Tales.

The David Tennant narrated documentary Wild About Pandas is available on iPlayer at this link for 6 more days. It will be broadcast on BBC Two on Friday 10th February at 9pm.

"Hugh Grant, Jonathan Ross and David Tennant were amongst the famous faces putting their grey-matter to the test at a pub quiz to raise money for a charity for homeless young people in London. Under the watchful eye of quiz master Fern Britton, celebrities including Newsnight presenter Emily Maitlis and DJ Sara Cox pitted their wits against teams of workers from London businesses at The Ultimate Pub Quiz organised by Centrepoint.
The light-hearted contest, now in its third year, was held at the Paramount Club in Soho's Centre Point Tower for the first time.
As well as the three rounds of questions, Fern presided over a celebrity auction offering teams the chance to buy the assistance of Grant, Ross, Tennant or Hollyoaks actress and Dancing on Ice star, Jorgie Porter, for the showbiz section of the quiz.
The Ultimate Pub Quiz has previously raised £50,000 each year for Centrepoint, which is dedicated to ending youth homelessness.
The money raised from the event will allow the charity to continue its vital work, providing vulnerable 16-25 year-olds with safe place to stay as well as the support to find work and move on to independent living.
John Raynham, head of fundraising at Centrepoint, said: 'It was our best Ultimate Pub Quiz yet and the first in the Centre Point Tower, it couldn't have gone much better.'
"

The Broadcast Awards are announced tonight at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. David Tennant's drama United is nominated for Best Single Drama Award. Also The Itch Of The Golden Nit is nominated in the Children's Award.

Last night £50,000 was raised at the Ultimate Pub Quiz for the charity Centrepoint which David Tennant attended.

The premiere transmission of the David Tennant narrated Wild About Pandas airs tonight on BBC Two Scotland at 8pm. It is available on Sky channel 971 over the rest of Britain plus BBC Two will be showing it on Friday 10th February.
