David Tennant - Comic Relief 2023 David Tennant was one of the five presenters who co-hosted the special televised live show on Comic Relief's Red Nose Day 2023. The show took place on Friday 17th March on BBC One from MediaCityUK in Salford. The annual charity event was to raise money to tackle homelessness, domestic abuse, mental health stigma and issues created by the COVID-19 pandemic. This year the event also raised funds to help the Ukraine crisis too. As well as David, the live television extravaganza was co-hosted by AJ Odudu, Joel Dommett, Zoe Ball and Paddy McGuinness. The evening also featured Kylie Minogue in a one-off special of BBC sitcom Ghosts, plus a parody of Love Island with an unexpected contestant looking for love. There was also a short sketch starring David as the Fourteenth Doctor in Doctor Who alongside Lenny Henry. The evening featured sketches, live performances and one-off comedy specials, as well as giving viewers a look at the huge impact donations have made in the UK and across the globe.
