David Tennant - Ahsoka The first two episodes of Ahsoka were released on Wednesday 23rd August 2023 on Disney+. Further episodes will be released weekly on Wednesdays. David Tennant voices the android Huyang in Ahsoka. He reprises his role from Star Wars: The Clone Wars from 2012 for which he won the Outstanding Performer In An Animated Program Award in the Creative Arts Daytime EMMYs in June 2013. Ahsoka is set after the fall of the Empire and follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to the galaxy. As well as David, the actors providing the voices for Ahsoka include Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka, Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger and Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn. Updated 27/9 David Tennant nominated for Best Actor Award in TV Choice Awards. The nomination is for his role in the ITV drama Litvinenko. Also Good Omens has been nominated for the Best Comedy Show Award and Ahsoka for the Best Family Drama Award. In competition with each other, both Inside Man and Litvinenko are nominees for the Best New Drama Award. Plus Spy In The Ocean (which is narrated by David) has been nominated for the Best Factual Show Award. Voting opened today and all votes must be cast by midnight on Tuesday 10th October.
