Talking Shakespeare is an exclusive series of online live events for The RSC Subscribers, Members and Patrons which were held to raise money for The RSC while the theatre is closed. The RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran has invited some guests and RSC Associate and Honorary Associate Artists to join him to talk about Shakespeare, their memories of The RSC and more. Other guests having Talking Shakespeare session include Judi Dench, Ray Fearon, Harriet Walter, Patrick Stewart, David Tennant, Adjoa Andoh, Simon Russell Beale, Paterson Joseph and Alexandra Gilbreath. Tickets were free but The RSC requests that people considered making a £10 (or more) donation for each event to the Keep Your RSC Campaign. The event took place on the online platform Zoom and details of how to watch were sent by email prior to the event start time.
