David Tennant was supposed to attend Wizard World Chicago Fan Convention 2017 on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th August but his appearance was cancelled. John Barrowman, Catherine Tate, Jenna Coleman and Alex Kingston (who played River Song in Doctor Who) attended on both days.
Wizard World Chicago, IL was from Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th August at Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, 5555 North River Road, Rosemont, Illinois 60018.
Photo ops for David cost $150. Autograph ops cost $105 or $150 for a premium autograph. Photo ops of David Tennant with Alex Kingston are $155 but photo ops of David with John, David with Catherine and David with Jenna are all $200 each. Photo ops of David, John, Catherine, Jenna and Alex together cost $495.
David Tennant was only attending Chicago on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th August. David Tennant VIP tickets for entry to the fan convention were on sale for $475. The benefits include a photo, autograph and front seating at his panel.
