Friday 20th July 2012 The BBC have uploaded three video clips for the final ever episode of the David Tennant narrated Twenty Twelve. The episode is called Loose Ends and premieres on BBC Two at 10pm on Tuesday (24th) which is just 3 days before the actual opening ceremony of London 2012. David Tennant's voice can be heard in all three of these clips (which may only play within the UK). Paul Whitelaw, who is writing an article for Broadcast Magazine which will be published around the time that The Politician's Husband is broadcast, today tweeted "Earlier I was in the vicinity of David Tennant. He was attired in pyjamas & dressing gown. It was like The Christmas Invasion all over again." Paul also tweeted "Excitingly, I can confirm that David Tennant is very tall. However lots of fans have said that they used iPlayer to watch it (as it was broadcast at 11.20pm) so the final figures will be higher. The new permanent Doctor Who Exhibition in Cardiff opens today. Currently there appears to be some doubt regarding the name of the movie as some industry websites are calling it Nativity Two: The Second Coming (which was the working title while it was being filmed) but other industry websites are calling it Nativity 2: Danger In The Manger. Sunday 1st July 2012 David Tennant will attend the Lords Of Time Fan Convention at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham during the weekend of 7th to 9th September 2012. The exact date David will be there has not been announced yet and the ShowMasters website promptly crashed as soon as David was announced! The convention is at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham where the convention in December will also be held. Tickets are available from this link. The California Literary Review has posted some detailed review of various episodes of the David Tennant narrated Twenty Twelve. (Be warned that they contain spoilers.) Some new info about David Tennant at the Midnight Convention on 16th December: A page has been set up now on the Starfury website specifically for this convention (but please note it currently says Heathrow at the top of the page although the event is in Birmingham). The Hilton Metropole Hotel, Birmingham is actually just outside Birmingham. It is near the NEC Arena (beside the M42 which is just off the M6) so there is plenty of parking in that area. The hotel will offer convention rates for attendees from July (although other hotels may be cheaper). The tickets prices include an autograph from the guests. The autographs of �20 for David and �15 for Billie are if you want an extra autograph (e.g. if you take something along to be signed). These are subject to the guests having time and can not be pre-booked. Although the Starfury website states that appearances are subject to the guests' work commitments, you can be sure that David Tennant will have ensured that he has no work commitment on that day. The closing event (which both David Tennant and Billie Piper will attend) starts at 6.30pm.
