David Tennant in Nativity 2 Danger In The Manger! David Tennant filmed the movie Nativity 2 Danger In The Manger! from October 2011 and finished in early December. David was on set for all but one of the filming days. All the movie was improvised. The movie was filmed in Coventry (where the movie is set), The Midlands and Wales. The working title of the movie was Nativity 2: The Second Coming. David Tennant plays two roles in the movie as he is playing identical twins! The movie also stars Marc Wootton, Joanna Page and Pam Ferris and is directed by Debbie Isitt. The synopsis of the movie is: "An anxious teacher starts a new job at an under-achieving school and quickly finds himself struggling to cope with a wild classroom assistant, a group of under-performing kids and his own very pregnant wife. He soon becomes embroiled in a madcap plan to enter a National 'Song for Christmas' Competition and finds himself embarking on a disastrous road trip in search of the competition venue - the 'Christmas Castle'. Lost in the wilderness with a class of small children, a baby and a donkey, he has to stand up, face his fears and try to lead them not only to safety, but victory." Nativity 2 is described as "part action adventure, part musical and has all the comedy, warmth and heart that audiences love" and was released on Friday 23rd November 2012. The DVD of Nativity 2 Danger in The Manger! was released on Monday 18th November 2013. It can be purchased on Amazon. It will be released in the US on 19th November and in Australia on 20th. The movie premiere was on Tuesday 13th November at the Empire in Leicester Square, London. September 2012 Coventry Tourism attended a preview of Nativity 2: Danger In The Manager last night and described it as "It's just as brilliant as the first film. Great for the city!" August 2011 It is NOT confirmed but Gemma Chan's official website appears to have details about the new project whuch David Tennant said that he was doing for the BBC with Dominic Savage. It is called True Love and also MAY star David Morrissey, Jane Horrocks and Billie Piper. There is also talk on Twitter today about people auditioning for something called Nativity 2 which people claim involves David Tennant but this is also NOT confirmed. Updated 22/8
