David Tennant will appear in True Love which will be broadcast in June 2012 on the BBC. The first episode is expected to air on Monday 18th June.
It is a drama which is written by Dominic Savage but involves improvisation by the actors.
David Tennant filmed his scenes during September 2011. The drama is set in Margate where he filmed for several days.
David Morrissey, Jane Horricks and Billie Piper will appear in other stories in this five part series.

There will be a preview of screening of episode one of True Love at the Turner Contemporary Art Gallery in Margate on Thursday 29th March from 6.30pm until 7.30pm. The screening will also include an introduction by the writer and director of the series Dominic Savage.

Broadcast reports that David Tennant's improv drama for the BBC has been renamed True Love. This was its original name but its working title was Love Life. However ITV are also producing a drama with that name so the BBC drama has reverted to True Love. Updated 25/2

November 2011 In an article by the Press Association today Kaya Scodelario revealed that David Tennant was nervous before acting in his improvisation drama Love Life. Click here to read it but, as Press Association articles are removed after a while, the relevant part is "The 19-year-old, who has had no formal acting training, found the improvisation tough. 'Not one word was written down on paper. It's terrifying, until you find a natural rhythm,' she admitted. 'Everybody was nervous about it, so I wasn't the only one.
