David Tennant - Fuddy Meers David Tennant will star in the movie Fuddy Meers with Krysten Ritter. Fuddy Meers is based on the American play by David Lindsay-Abaire. It tells the story of a woman, Claire, who wakes up every morning with no memory and relives her past daily. One day she is abducted by a limping, lisping man who claims her husband wants to kill her. Claire will be played by Krysten Ritter, while David Tennant will play the character of the Lisping Man. American actress Ellen Burstyn (Big Love, House Of Cards) is also listed in the cast as Gertie. David Tennant and Krysten Ritter previously starred in the 2015 Netflix series Marvel's Jessica Jones in which she played the role title and David Tennant played the main villain, Kilgrave. Fuddy Meers will be directed by David Patriarca who also directed two episodes of Marvel's Jessica Jones. The movie is expected to be released in 2018. She said "I love him. He’s a good egg and so talented. He’s a dream to work with. He’ll do a scene differently every take because he’s so well prepared — I learned a lot."
